July, 2015, Wamuran

Small tricap at the park opposite the shops. This is my first of this style, inspired by works I've seen on the net. This one is very irregular and raw looking, didn't quite have a vast choice of materials.

July 2015, Caboolture Arboretum

Took a little walk along the Caboolture River today and found a spot with some little pebbles. You can see this next to a broadwalk which crosses the river, but it's slightly off the beaten track. One-off

July 2015, Happy Valley (Bulcock Beach)

A perfect winter's day. My second site.

July 2015, Rocksberg

If you head out on Caboolture River Road, heading out from Morayfield, the road quickly turns into a wonderful country drive. Towards the end of this road is the last creek crossing before it becomes private property. This is my first site.

I have dabbled with different forms of art for a long time now. I've painted abstract expressionist. I've created small meaningless clay sculptures. There's been a bit of craft. But none of these things meant much, not to me, not to everyone else. So what I want to do is what I've wanted to do all along. Create something which makes people think, perhaps create a little bit of surprise, art that is free and accessible.

Here is what I'm going to do. I'm going to start making temporary landscape art for anyone that's interested. How long they last doesn't matter. If someone is already doing this or wants to copy what I do, it doesn't matter.

Let's see where it goes.
